Susan Flint Rajkumar I have lived in India for over a decade, and have called many other parts of this world my home. I mingle with people of many different religions, skin colors, educational backgrounds, and life experiences. And I am happy to call them my friends. At age fifty, I decided to change the course of my life by taking one art class. Many things have changed, and how pleasing!

A dear friend of mine recently passed over to the other world. And while I want to be human and feel sorry and sad, I can’t. This is the reflections on life that comes around when a friend of family member goes home. Of course I’m not happy about her going home—consider it a selfish want that I’d like for her to be around to see the wonderful things that are happening in our lives. Yes. This is true. It is selfishness. I must let it go.

Letters Home III

Dear Friends and Family,

February has turned into March—I had written—lost and found—February's blog; I liked it and disliked it. And so here are parts of it, plus more about March.

We have decided to settle here in India, in the high Nilgiri mountain range. Nilgiri means blue—so we are living in the Blue Mountains, just south of the city of Ooty, in Tamil Nadu.
